A real ball for the street December 1, 2008 Angelo D. (Greenville, SC) After having my 15 year old son destroying many leather court balls and even a rubber one, I decided to give this ball a try. What a difference. It has lasted at least 5 times longer that any other ball on our asphalt court. I have already purchased another one for Christmas even though the first one is still in pretty good shape, albeit only visually worn after over a year of regular use.
good outdoor ball . . . September 5, 2008 trebe 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
For an outdoor basketball, grip, durability and balance, are probably the most important considerations. Spalding's `Street' basketball ranks pretty high in those key departments. You get a nice firm grip, the durability of the pebbled finish seems to be pretty good, and you get a nice bounce on various types of hardcourts. The grip may not be as good as Spalding's NBA `Legacy' ball, but it is very close. Like many outdoor type balls, it may feel a little heavy on an indoor court. It's reasonably priced, so if you need an outdoor ball, you really can't go wrong with this one.
Very solid! September 1, 2008 M. Khan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My last basketball I bought from a retail store and paid more for it and lasted me only like two months outdoors. I have had this basketball for a while and no problem at all. Built to be played street ball!
Great ball August 18, 2008 Nagi S. Nasser (Dearborn, MI) Great ball for the money. Have only used it a few times since purchasing, but seems like a durable ball. I wasn't sure whether to go with a rubber or leather ball. It was either go with rubber for durability or leather for authentic feel. But I decided to go with rubber for its ability to withstand dribbling on concrete. I believe I made the right choice.
Basketball June 16, 2008 Angel 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday, and he absolutley loves it. Whenever we go to the basketball court, it's the basketball they all decide to use [usually all the guys bring their own basketballs]. It is a great basketball.
